Proudly, the CGHMC was the first in the world to offer the targeted MRI ultrasound fusion prostate biopsy with the Koelis Trinity Fusion Machine using the transperineal approach, allowing for accurate targeting of the suspected prostate cancer lesion with the advantage of eliminating the risk of potentially life-threatening infection.
We offer a whole range of urological services fully equipped with a complete line of urological equipment for basic and advanced endourological procedures and minimally invasive urologic surgeries capable of performing rigid and flexible cystoscopy, Retrograde Intra-Renal Surgery (RIRS) using digital flexible ureterorenoscopy, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL ) using different sizes of nephroscope, laser lithotripsy using our Holmium laser machine, standard monopolar and bipolar TURP, Transurethral Laser Enucleation of the Prostate using either our Thulium laser or Holmium laser, Bipolar Enucleation for the Prostate (BipolEP), and extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL). We have a complete set of laparoscopic instruments, including top-of-the-line Karl Storz laparoscopic towers that provide exquisite high-definition surgical images.

Dr. Juliano Z.K. Panganiban, a urologic surgeon, is the hospital’s Associate Medical Director and the Director of the Institute of Urology at the Chinese General Hospital. In line with the hospital’s outlook of advancing innovative and quality health care, his goal for the institute is to provide the best treatments for our patients using novel surgical techniques while training the next generation of surgical leaders.

Urologic Robotic Surgery
Dr. Jason Letran is the current President of the Philippine Robotic Urology Society, the Director of Clinical Operations of the CGHMC, and the Director of the Chinese Gen Robocare Surgical Center. A renowned urologic and ROBOTIC surgeon, Dr. Letran pioneered several innovative procedures, such as the first in the country to perform cryosurgical prostate ablation, robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy in 2010, transperineal MRI fusion and PSMA PET fusion prostate biopsies.
