Chinese General Hospital <\/strong>and Medical Center (CGHMC) \u2014 Institute of Pathology offers a 4-year Combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency training program, fully accredited by the Philippine Society of Pathologist, Inc. The program aims to produce highly competent and well- versed pathologists in the practice of anatomic, clinical, and molecular pathology, equipped with theoretical and practical techniques. CGHMC is 600 bed capacity hospital who caters <\/strong>for every patient. There are variety of surgicaI cases and different clinical laboratory tests offered which gives <\/strong>extensive exposure to our residents in training. This provides a platform for our residents to conduct researches for publication local and international journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4-year combined program gives hands-on experience on surgical and clinical laboratory of both private and charity cases. The residents have an opportunity to be guided by our subspecialty consultants in the fields of Molecular Pathology, Obstetrics and Gynecologic Pathology, Neuropathology, Hematopathology, Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology, Genito-Urinary pathology, Clinical Microbiology, and Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training program also offers post-mortem service with state-of-the-art autopsy facility including negative pressure ventilation for the safety our staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
