Young males from the City of Manila received free circumcision services last March 19 (Sunday) brought about by the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC) and the Philippine Coast Guard PCG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cOperation Tuli\u201d was spearheaded by CGHMC Chairman and President and PCG Auxiliary Admiral Dr. James G. Dy, in cooperation with the Philippine Chinese Charitable Association Inc. (PCCAI), operator and owner of the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was facilitated by well-trained, medical practitioners of the hospital, which aimed to reduce the number of uncircumcised individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Numerous young boys, some as young as nine or ten years-old, were circumcised which marked their transition to adolescence at the Anakbayan Court in Barangay 740 Zone 80, Malate, Manila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aftercare medications were also provided to all those who underwent the operations, like Vitamin C and pain relievers. The affair began at around 7 am and was supervised by local officials to ensure safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CGHMC and PCG partnership, regularly conducts free medical services to the public. This is in line with the hospital\u2019s commitment towards wellness and complimentary healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
