Timely endoscopy can prevent esophageal, gastric and colon cancer by early detection and treatment of pre-cancerous and early cancer lesions. It can also detect other serious GI diseases such as achalasia and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therapeutic endoscopy procedures which are minimally invasive can treat variety of GI diseases e.g. ERCP can treat biliary obstruction, EMR and ESD for early gastric and colon cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Digestive Endoscopy Unit provides affordable and high-quality gastrointestinal endoscopy and interventional hepatology procedures in a comfortable and safe surrounding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Unit\u2019s consultant staff is comprised of board-certified gastroenterologists and digestive endoscopists dedicated to provide expert and compassionate digestive health care. They are ably supported by registered nurses and technicians with specialized training in assisting endoscopic procedures.
