Our facility features state-of-the-art equipment, including the latest addition—the GE Gamma NM/CT 860 SPECT/CT hybrid system. As one of only two such machines in the Philippines, this advanced technology seamlessly combines functional and anatomical imaging, enabling our specialists to detect and localize disease with exceptional precision. This leads to more accurate diagnoses, enhanced treatment planning, and better patient outcomes.
We also utilize portable gamma probe technology, which enhances the accuracy of radio-guided surgeries, and offer advanced imaging techniques such as PET/CT and SPECT/CT. These capabilities place our department at the forefront of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine.

Our expanded therapeutic services now include advanced options such as Lutetium-177-based therapies for neuroendocrine tumors and metastatic prostate cancer. CGHMC is among the few institutions in the country to offer both PET/CT and SPECT/CT for theranostics, as well as PSMA Radioligand Therapy (PRLT), providing new hope for patients with advanced cancers.

The integration of ROLL, a minimally invasive nuclear medicine procedure, offers a more effective and comfortable alternative to traditional wire-guided localization for non-palpable breast lesions. Nuclear Cardiology is another area of excellence, with our team utilizing the latest advancements in imaging technology and software to provide both functional and anatomical assessments of the heart. The combination of SPECT and CT allows for more accurate diagnosis and management of heart disease.
